HAPPY TEACHER'S DAY!
Aye, due to working, I did not manage to go back to my sec sch for visits. (I had planned earlier!) ROAR!
Like every year, I msg-ed Mr Koh (My favourite ex-maths teacher) and wished him a Happy Teachers Day.
He invited me to call him but I did not as I was working..haha =X and lucky him, he told me he has teacher's day lunch..AHH!
and I told him to bring a plastic bag to wrap the food home. DA BAO, u know? HAHA =P

Today heard an announcement over the speakers whilst I was in the midst of working..
"ERIC WAN, Please come to... ...blah blah"

Hahaha..=D~ I perked up upon hearing the name! I still find it strange and too coincidental that I worked in a company in which someone has the same name as my idol. I mean, Eric Wan is a cantonese name..So I guess the person should be cantonese too? haha. =P

How I wish to meet the Eric Wan. *dreaming away*
But now whenever I think of the word "ERIC WAN", I will be reminded of the Eric Wan in my company. ROAR!

Got to know another colleague in my job. =) But well, I shall have to roll back to school soon..And soon, I will be leading a no-income life again. Lol.

Alright, so today... FIRST DAY OF WORK. Hahaha, I know many of my previous entries also included "FIrst DAY OF WOrk" inside...Lol, I kept changing jobs, I know.. =_=

So, what can I say about today, other than the security guard being handsome? He reminds me of Muthu from Just Follow Law! (Yes, he's also Indian and feels like him!)

Aye, I felt so lonely today that I kept on sms-ing my friends...AHh! No one to talk to! My mouth felt so dry after not talking for one day. (But fret not, I sang in the lift to myself to "open" my voice...)

Sometimes hor, if I keep my mouth shut for one whole day... I will end up humiliating myself when I start to talk cos PHLEGM will get in the way of my throat.. I experienced it before! I thought I can talk, but end up half-sound came out.. Sheesh!!

But good things come sometimes! Guess what I discovered today? While I was flipping through the files, I noticed a few names written on post-it notes. Out of curiosity, I saw the most beautiful name amongst them... "ERIC WAN"

OMG! Imagine my expresison when I saw that. I caught myself smiling and staring at the name for a few minutes. (Making sure I wasn't dreamin?) lol. And I STARED again, just for the pure pleasure. =)

I still remembered last week I had gotten an admin job too, and saw another name which left me amazed now that I come to think of it. I saw the words "Tian Zhao" written on it. (Aye, Tian Zhao is ERIC's Chinese name)..

Wahaha, very coincidence huh? To see the exact name of the person I idolise in 2 different working places.

Okie, tomorrow will be getting myself prepared for work already! I HAVE PHOBIA ALReADY LA!! But the nice thing was, I managed to know one guy from there. So well-mannered! Hahaha..=) But I think I forgot his name liao. =_="

Gotta go log off already. To ZH since I can't tag you, hope you will pass your examinations with flying colours. Shall continue my tag once I am able to see tomorrow. Haha, ta-da!

*AHEM* Before you comment me about my jobless state, I am here to say that I've got a job again! =D~ My third job..and this time, a longer period! =D~

Eh, I am a SINGAPOREAN. Of course I must be kiasu..But hor, I am really afraid that I will not be up to the standard or requirements..(Alright, hopefully not)..

Will be starting work on Monday le! Means I decided to rip off my "supposedly-holiday-time" to try and work so that I can earn some money. Well, of course, NOT for shopping....But hopefully can contribute a little to my parents.. (But I am not earning much this time round due to the holiday time constraint).

Nevertheless, I hope to set up an online business..Shall be going in to apply for a module on online enterpreneurship @ my school.

Anyway, I don't expect to go shopping with my hard-earned money. For my friends who do know me well, they should know I am not the typical shopping girl you see on the streets. Yeah, people may regard and brush me off as a "boring" person to be with, but HEY, I just don't like the idea and sight of my blood money going off like that!

Well, that's me. Take it or leave it. Ha Ha!

P/S: I don't like people who spend things on unneccessary, and especially branded stuff. Duh. =_= Its their life anyway.

I actually wanted to go to photobucket to find some pictures to enhance this post, but I was greeted by the "maintenance" page...Well, guess its just not the right moment!

Okie, so back to my daily rantings after not having done so for quite some time. Anyway, who's gonna read my rantings? Duh. =_=

Yesterday went for my first day of work, too! Wahaha..Free-lancer, keep dancing here and there. And lucky best, I got to work for an alchohol company! (Aiya, one day only ma..) And I almost couldnt control myself not to burst out laughing when I saw the person-in-charge.

He reminds me of a guy who acted in a recent HK drama series I watched, and mind you, the guy played the role of a bad guy who turned into a horrific ghost near the end of the show. *opens mouth*

*closes mouth* Tra-la-la...Today I am jobless again. Thats why I am here, blogging. *smiles* Oh my goodness, I actually had something in mind to blog about, but just like a flash of lightning, I forgot!

*WAILS* I TOLD YOU I SUSPECT I'VE GOT EARLY AMNESIA!! and I DON'T WANT THAT!

I am currently blogging from my workplace... Wah, first day of work! Its only a 1-day assignment. ^_^
I think it somehow feels like a Community Centre, where I need to tend the counter when people want to sign in for bookings of room. Sheesh, its my first time working this, and I gotta admit its quite stressed when it comes to things I do not know.

I did not expect myself to be in work today; and I slept at 4am yesterday...IMAGINE MY SLEEPLINESS! Andit was soooo humiliating just now when I started to stretch and yawn with my mouth OPEN WIDE.
JUST at that moment, a man appeared in front of me and startled me a little. OMG! SO UGLY WHILE I WAS YAWNING JUST NOW!! Why at this moment?!

Grrr~ Anyway, had lots more interesting stuff to write about.. The best thing about this job is that, I am allowed to use the internet...=D *smiles*

But there are still a lot of awaited tasks! Anyway, hope I will be able to succeed and of course, get my pay. =)

Thats the good thing about jobs. Do it well, and get paid well. =D

Anyway, I had nothing to do all these while and went on to view a lot of friends' blogs. PLEASE UPDATE LOR!

OMG OMG! What a fun day at the science centre!!! PLEASE do read my post! Its soo super duper exciting....!!!

The money was well worth!! In the early morning, met up with my buds at Jurong East...AND SI YING WAS EARLY!! *I still thought I was the first one who reached..CHEY*

WE WENT TO VISIT THE CHINA- 7000 YEARS OF INNOVATION!!

We got ourselves a badge, a brochure, and STAMP!

There was an exhibition guide who guided us during the journey and told us many things about the past. There were many different dynasties, such as Qing Dynasty, Song Dynasty etc...
When I was in there, there was a strong feeling of "PAST AIR"... I don't know how to explain it in specific details, but its something like "WOW, this thing before you has been existing for thousand of years..and.. ITS NOW IN FRONT OF ME!"

Yeps. I saw one which was the most memorable to me...Which is a medical operation kit for the throat area. The kit was said to be belonged to a past ancient man who had it 6 generations before him! (YES! ITS THAT LONG!!)

Inside the kit, there were scissors, sharp toothpicks, metal plucker (Or whatever they called it).. They were even laid on top of a flourished cloth. And you know what? Upon closer View, I noticed a bit of blood stains on the cloth.. I am not sure whether it really is blood, but I suspect it is as the blood had already turned brown and its located near the sharp end of the scissors. There was even one stained toothpick too. (Hmm~ Did I just say blood?? *lick tongue*)

Ahem..anyway...back to the topic!! I even bought a momento back from the exhibition and it was a very beautiful crafted bracelet...(China-like) for my mum.Yeah, one of my classmates bought one, too! And there was this ang moh who bought really a lot home!

I can say that the people of the past were very clever people. They can even make a living without advanced technology. So, look how the world is evolving now. Handphones, laptops, computers, PDAs..Oh my goodness gracious! Imagine how life would be for you if you were being sent back to the ancient times!! So, please count your blessings that you are living well here in the 21st century!

Amongst the many items I had seen in the exhibition, there was this medical cabinet which was said to be used till the Year 1911. I opened the cabinet and inspected it one by one...and yeah, they do still smell of herbs.
I opened one drawer, and I discovered a faded sticker sticking on the back of it.
On it, there was a date, month, price of herb, name of herb written!! And it has a date of 1965! Which was...erm... 42 years ago?!

OMG! A medical cabinet that has been intact for so long and appeared before my very eyes! I feel so honoured to be given this chance to view it. I looked closely into the cabinet, and YES, I could still see a bit of uncleaned herbs inside, together with the smell. ^^ Hey, the smell was still fragrant, k?

Haha, after our exhibition, we went to the Science Centre..Our teacher bought us the tickets! (But we had to pay 2 dollars)...Haha, and my, we had a whole chunk of fun too!! For example, my 'son':

I've seen, I've heard, I've known.

I am sincerely sorry if I've broke your heart. You are right, life still has got to move on...and I am glad you are so understanding. I wish I can return you the love you deserve, but I am sorry I can't. Although I am glad we had everything sorted out yesterday, but nevertheless, I know you are still in the midst of sadness.

Sometimes, we just have to face and embrace the obstacles in life. Love is a very complex thing, and something serious to think about. I do not want you to fall into the jaws of depression just because of me.

Honestly, I am happy knowing you and love the times we spent together. You always try to make me enjoy the state of euphoria, and I know you care.

However, some things just cannot go the way we want it. Its true that you may think I am the one who is not always taking initiative ; (MSN or sms), but it doesn't mean I don't care.
In fact, I do not want to rely on MSN or virtual world to pull our ties together. I don't normally say "HI" to my friends via MSN or SMS too.

If I really dislike you and don't even give a damn chance, I won't even bother to reply your sms (even late sms) or pick up your calls. I have the privilege to ignore calls; but I didn't. (unless I am really busy)

In my perspective, (Please do not take it personally), I think who taking the initiative is not important at all. What matters most is that do we really care? I may ignore you for once, but I may not ignore you forever.

Please do not mind me for being old-fashioned, but do you still remember or heard of how the olden people contacted each other in the past? They did not have laptops/computers, let alone MSN. On top of that, they did not have phones! Count ourselves lucky that we live in the 21st century where contacts can be called for instantly.

But despite all those discouraging factors that these people faced, did their relationship fade? No.

What I matter most is the real world we live in. Just take blogging for example. I may be here blogging my feelings out, scolding this, complaining , ranting... ...and whatsoever.
However, will that be me in real life? I can sound nasty, I can sound emo... BUT you may not see me crying in the streets over something I wrote in my blog.

=)) If one really likes someone for who he/she is, one will not mind who takes the initiative.. Or vice versa.

Do not worry for I do not blame you at all. I may not have any experience in love, but I can understand what it is all about.

I am sorry if I ever broke your heart, but sometimes I do not wish things to happen this way, either.

Just like I said, Love is a complex thing, and its not only judged by words of "I love you". Instead, love is a powerful tool that stays strong inside you.

We still have a lot more years to understand about what LOVE really is. And I believe you will be given a chance to.

Wooho! So honoured to be able to blog an entry during NATIONAL DAY! Happy Birthday, Singapore! I love you to the core! =D Waahhahaa...YOU are my homeland!

Oops=X, excuse me for my excitement. Its time for me to blog about a major event yesterday! Haha =D
AND IT WAS MY FIRST DAY CELEBRATING NATIONAL DAY AT SINGAPORE POLY! And it was really fun with my classmates around!

There was this irritating guy sitting beside Si Ying who kept making frustrating sounds from a Party Blower. Well, the blower was really LOUD ; and caused many people to look at him every time he started blowing it. What can I say? He is soooo attention-seeking. *Roll eyes*

Finally, when the time came for us to use a PARTY POPPER (The one which you pull and the contents inside FLY OUT), I turned to my friends and asked them to PULL it at that irritating guy.

Haha, the thought of it just made us laugh. AND LITtLe DID I EXPECT THAT CHLOE (my Good mate) heeded my advice and she AIMED at the person.
After the right aiming, SHE PULLED IT --- *PIANG*

Yeah, the strings fell onto the guy's head. And my classmates seated behind all popped at him until he ran away out of fear! Hahahahaa...!! WHO ASK HIM TO BE SO NOISY?!?!

I really admire Chloe to the core! She made me laugh till I actually forgot to BREATHE! OMG! Where is my oxygen?! Alright, honestly, I suffered some stomach cramps after all the laughing.

The event ended at around 5.20pm, and Zhong Hui and I arranged to meet at Dover MRT. (Lucky Zhong Hiu got Ah Dao's company whilst waiting for me...If not, he will be bored to death)
But I still need to thank Zhong Hui for his patience and waste of time waiting for me, though!

Hehe, it was a coincidence meeting my old classmate bestie, Pitrra, at the MRT station. She is still so joyful and nice! We chatted in the MRT...
But I must still apologise to Zhong Hui cos I sort of neglected you whilst I catch up with the old times with my friends...Who ask you to be so shy till stand alone?!? Haha...

Anyway, had an enjoyable time yesterday as we went to IMM to shop for my project's materials. (Yes, money again) I managed to eat a nice bowl of HONEYDEW SAGO!!!! OMG! SO NICE! And Zhong Hui bought a delicious meal of EEL! Ahh! It smelt so nice too! I was so jealous man! Haha.. =P

HEY, yesterday was fun, ok! We even went to Giant to fill our stomach with SUSHIS.. AND I HAVE MY FIRST TASTE OF RAW SALMON.
(Zhong Hui kept telling me that the salmon is delicous)... Haha, however, when I ate it, I told him I can only taste the rice. =P

Even though the times we had were enjoyable yesterday, but time flies. We had to part in the bus with our mama and papa bears in our hands. LOL. =P
Thanks once again for sending me home without fail, Zhong Hui. =) I know you will always try to make me happy. ^_^ I owe you a lot, I know! =D

I just love mentioning ERIC! hehehe! Cos your face will turn into AH BAO! Muwahaha..

Lol, just a short update from yesterday...
It was a hilarious day! (Well, for me, at least) =)~
My teacher gave us M&M's chocs! Wahahahaa..Guess what I did? I made use of the colours of the chocolates to act as my lipstick.

Wah, got many colours to choose from leh...I took blue! After colouring, I popped it into my mouth and ate it! WAHAHA, an edible lipstick!!

BUT hor, I din expect to scare people de leh... My friends din even dare to look at me with my blue "lipstick". Eh, I think the colour's cool!

AND GUESS WHAT?!?! I was just slacking around with my friends when suddenly my new lecturer-to-be "popped" up beside me without my realisation.

OMG! With my BLUE LIPS?! I got soooo embarrassed that I din even dare to look at her!!However, I tried to be polite. Slowly, I turned a little and smiled.

The moment she saw me, I think she got a shock man. (=X) SORRY SORRY! Hahaha, she told me that I scared her! Wahaha...But I LIKE IT! Oops.
Immediately, I quickly brushed it off by saying "ITs chocolate, its chocolate"... LOL...

Wah, I got so impressed by it that I remained with my blue lips.

AND, suddenly, my unaware friend came into the class. (I was looking downwards at that time).
Whoa, when I turned to face her, SHE GOT SO SHOCKED THAT SHE STOPPED IN HER TRACKS, WITH EYES OPENED WIDE.

Alamak, I looked so scary arh? *blushes red in embarrassement*

I then "ate" the colour away and chose another colour. I WANTED GREEN!! But Si Ying ate it away..Haha, so I changed into Orange and Brown! Wahaha, so fun lah!
Then my classmate said I was always changing colour! YEAH, I am going to be a chameleon from today onwards! wahahaha =X

Okie, shall stop here to do my homewrk... Tomorrow going to blog about today's outing with Zhong Hui. LOL.

Arh, Just came back from Jurong Point not long ago with Pei Wen.. (I went to return my library books..) Thanks so much to her for helping me "reserve" and borrow my DORAEMON comics! Wahaha..Muacks!

Wah, I happened to see Qi Yu Wu (Mediacorp Artiste) and other actors/actresses for the recent movie " 881". They were on the stage, promoting the movie. AND THEY WERE GIVING AWAY **FREE MOVIE TICKETS FOR 881!
In excited moods, Pei Wen and I quickly rushed to queue up, but then we realised that we need to purchase SHIN MIN DAILY NEWS in order to exchange some of the freebies. ShEESH! What a waste! My father had already bought the newspaper at home!

Disappointed, we left the queue, and there goes our "Goodie bag"!!

Hmph! Never mind... although I am not a fan of Qi Yu Wu, but was feeling lucky to see him there! hahaha.. (I think he always look emo emo de, no offence, though)

=D Today feeling quite thick-skin and purchased 2 student meals with one ez-link card. When the KFC staff asked me for another ez-link card, I told him that my friend did not bring it. Wah, what a close shave when he allowed me with a mere "telling-off" : NEXT TIME REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR STUDENT ID.

Hmmm... Feeling generous today, and decided to post one of my pics since my post is so short. =D

*Laughing like an emperor* Today lesson dismissed before one pm! Wow, the feeling was "SHIOK AHH!"
However, I had a lot of homework to do... =_= Sheesh, its not going to end!

Actually, today nothing exciting happened (except early dismiss from school) <--Wahaha~

Oh ya, of course I can blog about disgusting stuff..*evil smile*
But in order not to lose your appetite, I shan't blog about it... =D~

Random: I WANT TO BUY THUMBDRIVE! WHO KNOWS WHERE GOT SELL CHEAP CHEAP DE? 2GB!! If not, 1GB will be nice.. Hehe! ^_^

Aye, since nothing to blog today, then tomorrow lor!

Wahoo...My goods from Shanghai finally arrived this morning! Believe me, I was soooo happy that I almost vomitted in front of my friends! Sheesh. Lucky that I managed to control myself..
Haha, my first international transaction! Finally succeeded! ARRHH!
I talked to my Shanghai friend today and I was shocked when he told me his daughter is ill and has to take her to the hospital immediately.
Mr Chen, even if I know that you are not able to read my blog (cos I did not give you my blog url :p), I would still sincerely hope that your daughter will recover soon!! You are the best honourable seller I've ever met! Thanks for taking the time to wrap the items so nicely and even gave me a beautiful keychain. I simply adored it!

EEPS, now back to my usual blogging school stuff. GUESS WHAT?!?! Today, I ate a plate of chicken rice from Food Court 1, and while I was drinking the soup halfway, I spotted something tiny floating!!
I took a closer look... .... and REALISED ITS A DEAD FLY, WITH LEGS!!! ALAMAK! Why am I always eating foods that are contaminated with insects?!
I pushed my bowl to Si Ying, and wanted her to determine and confirm whether its a fly before I anyhow make assumptions in my blog.
When she looked at it, she told me "YES".

AND I LOOKED AGAIN.

Yes, it has tiny legs...and was that wings I saw?!

Okay, so 10% of my appetite was gone. (That Si Ying still drank the soup cos she told me the fly is only located at the side; thus not very contaminated =_=)

Now, thats not the end. Listen to me!!

Without the soup, I carried on indulging in my plate of chicken rice. While eating halway, I spotted a black stuff inside. Upon closer look, I realised its a short strand of HAIR!
My friends kept telling me it was my own hair that had dropped inside, but I PULLED it out and let them see. The strand of hair is short.

Wah, now 70% of my appetite was lost, and I suddenly felt the temptation to VOMIT. Without control, I produced some "urgh urgh" sounds...Sheesh.
Not saying anything more, I tried to take a few bites of the rice (I thot it would be a waste if I threw it away like that), but after a few mouthful, I really feel that I have no appetite anymore.

AAARHH!! *bloodcurling scream*

This is the list of "things" that I had almost/had eaten/drank: (Which always happen to be in the food I am eating)

-Lizard
-Cockroach
-Worms (YES, WORMS. PLURAL!!)
-Fly
-Strand of short hair.

Now, let me share with you a fact which may sound disgusting to you, but I don't care. I had told my close friends several times about STRAWS. Yes, the long-long straws that you use to drink water from. =)

Okay, some people have the habit to use straws when drinking water, right? (take me for example).
Normally, when you take the straw, what will be the first thing you do? Smelling it? Looking through the hole? Digging it? Or Just simply insert it into your drink and started to sip from it?

I am sure most people will choose the latter.
But I am going to make you imagine something.... Be prepared. =))

Imagine...If a dead/living fly manages to crawl into the straws you took without YOU even noticing it..
And YOU just simply put the straws inside the drink and sip it...TOGETHER with the fly that flows into your mouth...
Haha, you may think I am being lame or whatever, but its true! Did I say wrongly? Aren't the first reaction when people take straws is to drink from it immediately? Do you even care whether anything is inside the straws?

Well, the "fly inside straw" is only one of my examples. What if its a mini cockroach inside instead? Haha, its something for you to think about. =))

P/S: Remember the BIG straws you use when you order BUBBLE TEA? I think baby lizards or teenage cockroaches can fit into the straws though...=P~

I suggest, you just look into the straws to see whats happening inside:

P/P/S: hey, but its not so bad after all...Cos' nowadays KOPITIAMs supply those transparent straws which are able to be looked through...Those are safe! =D

Wahahaha...I got the best of the best news ever!!
ERIC WILL BE APPEARING AGAIN ON 11/08/2007! Although I can't get to see him; but at least I hope I will be able to catch some live pictures of him via china webs.

And today, I stumbled upon Chen Fa Rong's (a HK actress) blog, and saw this:

It was said that ERIC had been filming at China during May..and thats the picture taken! ^_^ (In a happy mood, I went to report it to my china friends.)

ok, ok... I know I just had an overdose of craziness for eric, but... Its difficult to hear about him now and I just did.. ! It was like, WOW!
Ok, sorry, just ignore me. Now I will be blogging properly like I used to. I am tired of thinking about eric everyday either.. HA HA.

YES! Guess what?! Today I managed to get the tickets for my SCHOOL's NDP! Wah, the person let us wait outside the staff room at the staircase.
Then, SUDDENLY, my teacher appeared and was surprised to see us there. =_=" I guess he had forgotten about it. Haha. =P

Wah, before he entered the staff room, he turned around and faced me, saying , "Please do not go to ebay and sell ar".
Before I could say anything, he went into the staff room liao. =_=

Eh, School's NDP ticket, sell what? Hahahahaha..When it was time for us to enter the staff room for the collection of tickets, my teacher appeared again, AND told us AGAIN not to "sell it at ebay".
HAHAHA, the office lady told him "This one is School's NDP, not the Marina's NDP"... and I found it funny too! hahhaa..I mean, the tickets are only meant for SP students..Even if I sell to others, who will buy?

LOL...haha, but nevertheless, we got ourselves a red T-shirt (which had this yr's Marina's NDP's logo printed on it, together with my school's) and an entry coupon, which entitles us to one lucky draw each!
The lady told us that we still have more items to get on that day! Wah!!
I want to have many coupons for lucky draws leh!! I love them! However, I guess one person is only allowed one coupon as it has our name written on it..

And one problem!! The lady did not have "S" nor "M" size T-shirt anymore! In the end, I got a "L" T-shirt, which is sooooo oversized that I can fit TWO OF ME inside...
With an apologetic tone, the lady tried to "console" the stunned me and said "On that day, just roll up your sleeves and fold blah blah..."

I nodded and went out of the office... ...WAAaaa...

Eeps. A few days ago, Steven Lim ( remember the yellow-stripper during the 1st season of SG idol?) talked to me on MSN, asking me if I am on his friends list or whatsoever.
And he asked to see my picture, wanting me to add him to Friendster...
Sheesh, so dangerous. Of course I didn't. Ha ha...Aye, anyway, I did not spoke to him after that..Wahaha...
